    Shipping/Handling Policy:

     We generally ship orders the same day or the next day after payment confirmation. We reserve the right of choosing the best shipping method based on size and weight of package for regular ground shipments. Next Day Air and Second Day Air will be shipped by UPS or FedEx. Shipping charges shown are estimates only. Actual shipping charges are determined by package size and weight. We endeavor to keep shipping charges as low as possible, and will give you the lowest possible rate. With standard delivery, location within the lower 48 states, most orders will arrive within 14 days. However, higher priority shipping service is available for an additional charge. An insurance charge will be added to all orders with value higher than $100.00 (including S & H).

    Express Delivery

    The cost for express delivery within the continental United States is $7.95, in addition to the standard shipping and delivery charge. This service is available within the continental United States only. Orders will arrive within five business days. Express delivery is available to locations with street addresses only. We are not able to deliver to rural routes or post office boxes.

    Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico

    Only the 'second day express' level of service is offered for these orders.

    Order Confirmation

    All orders are accepted and pending payment verification. Once we receive your order, our Customer Service department will send you an order confirmation via mail/e-mail. This mail/e-mail will represent the actual confirmation that your order has been accepted and payment has been verified. The order confirmation mail/e-mail will summarize all the information pertaining to your order. In the unlikely event of a discrepancy between the information provided and the information provided in the confirmation mail/e-mail, the content in the latter will prevail.

    If for any reason we cannot verify your payment we will send you an mail/e-mail informing you of the circumstances. In such case you will have to re-enter your order providing a new valid form of payment.

    If you pay for your order by check or money order, the mail/e-mail order confirmation will be sent to you once we receive your check or money order and funds have been verified.

    The order confirmation mail/e-mail will contain:

  • Status of your order: accepted or not accepted
  • Itemized price, including taxes and shipping and handling costs

    Backorder items will be shipped within 1-3 business days after they become available at our warehouse.

    Payment

    Prices quoted are FOB our warehouse and are subject to change without notice. Buyers receive payment and shipping instructions with their invoice, which is mailed/faxed immediately after the order confirmation. "Lamp Design & Repete Prototyping Inc." accepts wire transfers, money order or checks. Buyers pay any applicable state or local sales taxes. Sales tax is charged for products being delivered within the state of California. Orders shipping outside of the California will not be taxed. If you have a California State reseller certificate, then you qualify for the tax-exempt status and will not be charged sales tax for shipment within California State. To establish exemption eligibility, your certificate must be submitted prior to the purchase of the product.

    A $25.00 service charge will be placed on all checks returned to us by the bank for non-payment.

    Please make your check or money order payable to "Lamp Design & Repete Prototyping Inc." Checks must be in United States dollars and drawn on a United States bank. Please do not send cash.

    Special orders

    Special order items are products that are not kept in stock but are custom made upon a customer order. These products will be displayed as part of the catalog, but cannot be ordered from stock. To order these products, please contact the Sales Department.

    Please note that special order items can be paid by check and money order only. Most special order products require 4 weeks for delivery after payment confirmation. When placing a special order the customer will be asked to make an advanced payment, usually 30% of the total product price. Once the product is ready for shipping, the customer will be informed via phone, mail or e-mail and will be requested to settle the balance of the order. Product shipment will take place after this second payment is verified.

    The refunds or cancellation policy of special orders is the following:

  • After the special order has been placed a cancellation will result in the customer losing his/her advance payment. Special order changes will be accepted at our discretion, possibly for an additional charge.
  • After the final payment, no refunds or order cancellation will be accepted on special orders.

    Limited Warranty

     In order to serve our customers and subject to the following disclaimers and limitations, Lamp Design & Repete Prototyping Inc., (LD&RP) provides the following limited warranty. All LD&RP products are covered by this warranty and we make no other warranties. The warranty shall apply for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. The warranty only covers products installed and maintained in accordance with the instructions provided by LD&RP and no warranty is made with respect to any of our products that are otherwise installed or maintained. Product dimensions listed are provided by LD&RP and are as accurate as possible. Defects or failures arising during shipment or due to alteration, misuse, negligence, accident, theft, defective maintenance, damage by and actions of others, or where adequate care has not been taken to prevent chemical, ice, or snow damage to the product shall not be covered by this warranty. The warranty does not cover products that have been exposed to toxic, nuclear, or corrosive environments, or where operating temperatures fall below -40° C or exceed +100° C. Due to the unsuitability of many cleaning agents such aspects of our products as could be damaged by their use. This warranty does not cover labor, shipping costs, removal or installation, nor does this warranty cover any product not expressly designated product when it is used as a component of and/or a finished good for a manufactured primary product without the prior written approval of LD&RP.

    DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS SET FORTH IN THE LIMITED WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY LAW, LD&RP PROVIDES ALL PRODUCTS AS IS AND DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.

    Limitation of damages

    If during the warranty period any LD&RP product proves defective in materials or workmanship, or fails to meet our published performance specifications for the product, LD&RP's liability for any breach of warranty shall be limited to repair or, at LD&RP's option, replacement with a non-defective product of substantially similar specifications.

    THIS WARRANTY COVERS, AND LD&RP IS LIABLE FOR, ONLY THAT WARRANTY COVERAGE AND DAMAGES SPECIFICALLY DETAILED ABOVE. EXCEPT AS MAY OTHERWISE BE REQUIRED BY LAW, LD&RP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF LD&RP HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. THIS DISCLAIMER APPLIES DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD.

    If you discover a defect or malfunction during the period to which this warranty applies, repair or replacement is subject to the proper notification and consent of LD&RP. If you have further questions, please let us know.
